This extraordinary commode is fashioned in burled walnut, fruitwood and satinwood with marquetry accents, a marble top and four graduated drawers. The intricate marquetry on the drawer fronts and commode sides is of a flowing vine and budding flower design. The bronze drawer pulls are also in a flowing vine design and there are bronze ormolu attachments at the front feet. Very good condition. Circa 1860. 41"H x 58"L x 25"D.
