Bidjar Rug 8' 9" x 12' 2"

The Bidjar rugs are known as the "Iron Rug of Persia" because of their strong durability.  They are hand-knotted in the Kurdistan region of Persia.  This rug features an Herati medallion on a rust field within a navy Herati border.  It is finished in an ivory guard border.  Circa 1900.  8'9"W x 12'2"L.
