This antique Queen Anne period chest on stand is constructed of walnut. The upper case, with molded cornice, has two-over-three graduated drawers in a burled veneer and accent string inlay. The pulls and escutcheons have been replaced. The lower case has two flanking single-pull drawers and a scalloped and carved apron. It rests on ball and claw feet with shell carvings at the knees. Very good condition. Queen Anne period. Circa 1750.
